The draft order is based on the unofficial "if the draft was held today" order. There would be a coin flip for the first and second picks as well as the fourth and fifth. Also, with the playoff teams, I used my power rankings to determine the wierdo order they have for playoff teams.

As you can see, Cam Newton is in my mock. The poo poo is going to be hurled against the fan soon, so Newton would do good to get the hell out of Auburn as fast as possible. Even though he's extremely raw I think someone will take him in the first round. The Jaguars could be a good bet. They wanted Tebow to sell some tickets, Newton could do the same thing.

1. Buffalo Bills - QB Andrew Luck, Stanford. For years I have said if you end up with the first overall pick and you need a QB, then you take a QB. Ryan Fitzpatrick is putting up decent stats while trying to play catch up, but he is seriously limited. The Bills have to finally get something out of their high first round picks. I don't see the Panthers winning another game, but thankfully for Buffalo, they will probably be too cheap to take a QB, and even if there is a rookie scale, they just have too many other holes. They can give Clausen one more year.

2. Carolina Panthers - DE Da'Quan Bowers, Clemson. Panthers can go any direction here. They have holes all over the place. Bowers is a physical freak who has put it all together this year, leading the nation in sacks and tackles for loss. He's a Carolina guy and might give the fans a little reason for optimism.

3. Cincinnati Bengals - WR AJ Green, Georgia. The Bengals are a dark horse canidate for Andrew Luck. Carson Palmer looks absolutely horrible this year, though maybe he is just tired of the Chad Ochocinco drama. The Bengals could move on from both him and Terrell Owens and build around an AJ Green/Jordan Shipley WR duo.

4. Dallas Cowboys - CB Patrick Peterson, LSU. The Cowboys have talent (there's that word again!) so they can just go best defensive player here. Terence Newman is entering his mid 30's and has become a liability, and Mike Jenkins is not that good either. Peterson would be an instant upgrade for the secondary.

5. Detroit Lions - CB Prince Amukamara, Nebraska. The Lions luck out and get a player who fills the biggest need on the team. The secondary has barely put up a fight all year. Amukamara is reunited with his former college teammate Ndamukong Suh, who is not only the clear defensive rookie of the year but is probably an All Pro defensive tackle.

6. Arizona Cardinals - QB Ryan Mallett, Arkansas. The Cardinals main problem this year has been pathetic play at the quarterback position. Derek Anderson is a career backup and pre-season hero Max Hall is obviously not the answer either. Mallett might be a reach here right now but once he gets to show off his talent (besides his 7.3 40 yard dash) I think he will jump up into the top ten.

7. San Francisco 49ers - DE/OLB Robert Quinn, North Carolina. The 49ers are playing better, but the pass rush has been a problem all season. The Niners do have 20 sacks, but only 6 have come from their starting outside linebackers. Not a good look for a 3-4 team. Quinn has not played all year but he has the size and talent to really be a pass rushing terror at outside linebacker.

8. Cleveland Browns - DE/DT Marcell Dareus, Alabama. The Browns are actually starting to get some talent in there so they can finally afford to draft for need. It helps that Dareus is the top player on the board, anyways. Shaun Rogers is probably the only guy you can name on that defensive line, and he has been a complete non factor this year. Dareus could be a very good playmaking 3-4 end.

9. Minnesota Vikings - DT Nick Fairley, Auburn. For years the Williams wall has been the cornerstone of the Vikings defense. However, this year, the whole defensive line has been a dissapointment. Pat Williams is nearing 40, so they could bring in his replacement. The Vikings could use a pass rush from the tackle position, and Fairley has the strength and speed to do just that.

10. Denver Broncos - DE/OLB Ryan Kerrigan, Purdue. The Broncos sure do miss Elvis Dummervill. They just have no pass rush this year, with only 14 sacks. The defensive line is equally as pathetic, but pass rushers are usually easier to find in the first round. Kerrigan may not have the most talent in the world, but the guy is terrorizing opposing quarterbacks this year.

11. St. Louis Rams - WR Julio Jones, Alabama. Sam Bradford is having the best rookie season by a quarterback in many years. But imagine if he had Donnie Avery and Mark Clayton all year long. Better yet, imagine if he had someone better? Julio Jones is really coming on strong for Alabama after a slow start, and he has the size and speed comparible to AJ Green. Have him be your number one, Clayton your number two and Danny Amendola your token white guy slot receiver? Sounds good to me.

13. Houston Texans - CB Janoris Jenkins, Florida
14. Washington Redskins - WR Jonathan Baldwin, Pittsburgh
15. Kansas City Chiefs - DE/OLB Akeem Ayers, UCLA
