Since there was a three way tie for teams trying to get the Wild Card and the NL West, there were two playoff games. The first game, the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in Arizona. Then the Diamondbacks got to host a second game for another chance to get into the playoffs, and lost AGAIN! This time to the St. Louis Cardinals.
