Round 1
2. St. Louis Rams - QB Jake Locker, Washington. Marc Bulger is finished and Kyle Boller is horrible. The Rams need to get a QB here.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska. Suh might be the most talented player in the draft, and plays at a premium position. The Buccaneers have not had a playmaker at defensive line, especially tackle, since the Warren Sapp days.
4. Detroit Lions - DE Derrick Morgan, Georgia Tech. Derrick Morgan is having a monster season as a 20 year old junior. He has only 7 less sacks then the whole Detroit Lions team. And lastly, the Lions had great success when they last took a Yellow Jacket this high. Makes sense to me.
5. Washington Redskins - QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma. Jason Campbell has continued to show flashes, but I think it is too late to salvage his career in Washington. He has had to go through too much. He'll have a chance to rebuild his career in another city. The Redskins need to find his replacement. Bradford has had injuries, but could contribute faster then the other two guys picked above him.
6. Oakland Raiders - S Taylor Mays, USC. After changing this pick last week I went back to the well. It just makes too much sense not to happen. Al Davis blows loads over physical specimens, and it doesn't get much better then a 6'2, 230 pound safety. He'll take him even if Jesus Christ himself was still on the board.
7. Kansas City Chiefs - S Eric Berry, Tennessee. Like the Niners last year, the Chiefs get to reap the rewards of the Raiders passing on the better player. Berry will be an instant star and give the Chiefs a much much needed defensive play maker.
8. Seattle Seahawks - OT Russell Okung, Oklahoma St. The Seahawks offensive line is a mess, they get to land the best offensive tackle in the draft. Hopefully he'll give the Hawks a solid 12 years like predecessor Walter Jones did.
9. Buffalo Bills - DT Gerald McCoy, Oklahoma. The Bills have holes everywhere, but worst of all is defensive line. No team is getting ran over as much as Buffalo.
10. Denver Broncos (from Chicago Bears) - DE Carlos Dunlap, Florida. Things are not going great for Carlos Dunlap. He is having a mediocre season and was just arrested for drunk driving. But all those things will be forgotten if he has an amazing combine. He has the size and power to be an end in the 3-4.
11. San Francisco 49ers (from Carolina Panthers) - WR Dez Bryant, Oklahoma St. With two first round picks in the top 12 the Niners can afford the luxury. A duo of Crabtree and Bryant would be too tempting to ignore.
12. San Francisco 49ers - MLB Rolando McClain, Alabama. Like the receiving group, the Niners opt to go with a dominating middle linebacking duo. Can you imagine a team having to go against McClain and Patrick Willis? Scary.
13. New York Jets - CB Joe Haden, Florida. Darrell Revis might be the best cornerback in the NFL, but there is not much opposite him. Lito Sheppard has proven that he might be done as a starter.
14. Houston Texans - RB Jonathan Dwyer, Georgia Tech. Steve Slaton might be better suited for a change of pace back. Dwyer is that lead bruiser that would make this offense next to unstoppable.
15. Miami Dolphins - DE/OLB Jerry Hughes, TCU. Hughes has great size for that 3-4 outside linebacker, and can learn behind two future hall of famers.
16. Tennessee Titans - DT Arthur Jones, Syracuse. The Titans defensive line has played well but more talent would be useful.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers - OT Anthony Davis, Rutgers. Max Starks and Willie Colon are solid but not spectacular. Starks will not be worth the money that he'll want in the off-season.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Greg Hardy, Ole' Miss. The Jaguars are last in the NFL in sacks, despite using multiple early picks to try to address that. They have to continue to do whatever they can to generate a pass rush.
19. Atlanta Falcons - OLB Greg Jones, Michigan St. The Falcons are showing that they need a lot more talent on defense before they can be legit Super Bowl contenders. Greg Jones is having an amazing all around season for the Spartans.
20. Baltimore Ravens - CB Kareem Jackson, Alabama. The Ravens have had trouble replacing Chris McAlister, having to start two cornerbacks who are more suited for nickle duty.
21. New York Giants - MLB Brandon Spikes, Florida. Antonio Pierce is out for the season, and was next to worthless when he was playing. Spikes has had a bit of off the field trouble but should be great value here.
22. Green Bay Packers - RB CJ Spiller, Clemson. The smart pick would be to take an offensive tackle. After all, we know Green Bay has a huge need for someone to protect Aaron Rodgers. But, with Ryan Grant being as bland a running back as you can find, it would be too tempting to pass up a potential game changer like Spiller. He could be a great third down back and kick returner. The Pack has never had an explosive talent at running back like CJ.
23. Arizona Cardinals - OT Brian Baluga, Iowa. The Cardinals could really use a pass rusher and additional help in the secondary, but with Baluga still on the board here he is too good to pass up.
24. Philadelphia Eagles - S Earl Thomas, Texas. The Eagles could go best player available here. They opt to go with Brian Dawkins replacement with Thomas, who has had an amazing college season.
25. New England Patriots - QB Tim Tebow, Florida. I simply refuse to change this pick! Like I have said many times, Tebow will be a first round pick, but I have no idea who will take him.
26. Seattle Seahawks (from Denver Broncos) - QB Colt McCoy, Texas. Colt McCoy has had a much better season then Ryan Mallett, which is why I am finally changing up my pick, even though I still think Mallett will be a better pro.
27. Cincinnati Bengals - RB Jahvid Best, California. Cedric Benson has been good, but Chris Johnson is showing that speed equals greatness. No one has more speed then Best.
28. San Diego Chargers - RB Ryan Matthews, Fresno St. The Chargers miss out on the big three running backs, but they take the NCAA's fourth leading rusher, and a guy who is better built to be a workhorse back in the NFL.
29. Dallas Cowboys - OT Trent Williams, Oklahoma. Flozell Adams has the body of an 87 year old and a contract of a player 10 times better then he is. He will be replaced.
30. Minnesota Vikings - QB Ryan Mallett, Arkansas. Brett Favre's MVP season continues. Which makes this pick even better. I think Mallett will be a good NFL QB, but he is nowhere near ready. Here he can learn for a year or two and come in and take over for Brett. That is if Brett doesn't play until he is 50.
31. New Orleans Saints - OLB Navorro Bowman, Penn St. The Saints defense has played much better this year, but they can still use a talent upgrade at linebacker.
32. Indianapolis Colts - CB Patrick Robinson, Florida St. Marlin Jackson and Bob Sanders are both always hurt and probably won't be back. Talent in the secondary needs to be added.

No way Tebow to patriots too many gaping holes in dline and oline not a luxury pick of tebow now if he played linebacker or dtackle different story. Jaxville will take Tebow even though he is not a day 1 pick for anyone...
